Most of the time it is difficult for a youth that is full of potential skills to determine the right career path to follow. So many youth at this cross road ask series of problems such as what should I do?; what industry should I enter?; what vacation should I try; or should I become self employed?.
One solution that had worked for so many people that can also be useful to you is for you to sit down and write a list. The first thing is to figure out what you like to do, then list all your skills and major accomplishments. After which you also figure out what is important to you such as money, locations, the ethics of a company or profession etc. What you are trying to do is to access the type of company and job that fits with what you chersihed. To assist you figure out this you can google "value clarification" and take a couple of tests but remember not to pay for them, they should be free.It is also important for you to include one more thing on your list, which are those things you hate and you will never want to do.
This process of listing your likes and dislikes will help you see things in a more realistic manner.
