Highlighted below are few terminologies that are common to blog and act of blogging:
1. Blog: A web page that serves as public source of personal journal for an individual or organization. It is short form of web log;
2. Blogger: A person that blogs;
3. Blogging:The process or act of writing or updating a blog;
4. Blogoshere: It is a term that is used in expressing the world of blog;
5. Blogroll: This is the list of links to other blogs or websites found on the blog;
6. Blogsnob: This is a slang that is used to describe those who doesn't respond to blog comments written by others who are not his/her blogger friend;
7.B-Blog: This is the short form of Business Blogging,i.e. a blog used by a business to promote itself;
8. K-Blog:This is a blog that is not accessible to the public but an internal blog but serve as knowledge management blog. It is the short form of Knowledge blog;
9.Moblog: The term was derived from mobile and weblog. It is a blog that as posted to the internet through mobile devices such as phone or PDA;
10. Tagging: This commonly adopted in blog in which the blogger or site author attach keywords description (called tag)to identify images or text within the blog as a category or topic;
11. vblog or vog: It is the short form of video blog, it is used to describe blog that consist of video clips; and
12. Dooced: To loose ones job because of something you have posted in a blog.
